8″ Rust Free Bushcraft Kukri | Hand Forged Knife | EGKH Knife stands out as a beloved choice in the realm of khukuri. Within the Nepalese community, the kukri has gained a substantial following and is a highly sought-after blade. Our team of traditional Nepalese blacksmiths, called Kaami, forged it at our factory in Nepal. Nepalese blacksmiths have been using traditional techniques & mostly traditional tools to forge blades as they have been forged for generations. This popular khukuri boasts an 8-inch blade forged from 5160 High Carbon Steel, renowned for its durability and strength. The blade’s unpolished finish adds a touch of elegance to its rugged demeanor while making it rust-free.
This 8″ Rust Free Bushcraft Kukri | Hand Forged Knife | EGKH has a full-tang handle made from rosewood which makes it extremely durable. The handle, measuring 5 inches, is made from the same single piece of steel that continues to the blade, providing extreme sturdiness. It features two rosewood pieces securely attached to the metal part with three metal rivets. There is a loop attached to the knife that prevents it from dropping while in use. The blade has an upper spine thickness of 5mm and a belly width of 5cm. The unpolished finish adds to its authentic appeal.
The blade of Rust Free Bushcraft Kukri can be used to chop wood or bone-clean bushes and also for other kinds of domestic work. A karda & a chakhmakh are included with this khukuri. Karda is a sharp knife that can be used to cut fruits & vegetables, open tin cans, etc. The Chakhmakh is a blunt steel that can be used to hone the khukuri blade or used to produce sparks for fire with fire steel or flint. The scabbard is made of pinewood wrapped with buffalo leather and features a single frog for easy attachment to a belt.
