This is 12″ Blade Balanced World War I Historic Kukri. EGKH has reproduced the same World War I Kukri. This Kukri is very famous among blade collectors because of the fact that the very design of this Kukri was carried/used by the Army in hand-to-hand battle in the Jungle of Burma during World War 1st. This Kukri was also great to use for any kind of heavy works. It can be used to chop wood, firewood, bone, cleaning bushes. The blade is made of Highly Graded Carbon Steel and is semi-polished. It is broad and more curved than Standard Kukris thus making it balanced and very perfect while using. The Handle is a flat full tang. Unlike another handle, the handle and Blade are one single piece and visible all around the handle (See pictures). Two Rosewood pieces joint (Attached) strongly to the metal part of the handle with three metal rivets and adjust lanyard hole on the handle. Special Red Sheath is made of Genuine Buffalo Leather. Two small knives come along within the scabbard named “karda” and “chakmak”. Karda can be used to skin animal skins, cut papers, and for small purposes. Chakmak is used for sharpening the blades of the khukuri/kukri blade. The wooden display stand can be purchased with additional Charges.
