This is the latest product of Ex-Gurkha Khukuri House(EGKH). “AARA” in Nepali refers to the saw that is used to cut wood for the fine and back cut. The kukri has an edge similar to the Saw/”AARA” so the kukri is named the AARA khukuri. The kukri has a full tang handle similar to the famous kukri knife” American Eagle” and a blade similar to the AEOF khukuri. This kukri is basically designed for the clean and straight cut of the wood. 12″blade is semi-polished.
Pouring water temper on the edge of the blade makes it very strong. The kukri has got blocker between the handle and blade as safe guard. This kukri can be used for the fine and clean cut of wood, clearing bushes, cutting meat, bone, etc. The scabbard is made of cottonwood covered in water-buffalo leather.
