This is 13 Inch blade Gurkha Itihaas (Historic) New Version kukri. It is similar with Panawala. Panawala is a popular village from eastern side of Nepal. This vary designed is come from the same village.
This is the replica version of the genuine Gurkha kukri carried by Gurkhas in hand-to-hand combat in the Jungle of Nepal during World War I. This is the most historically model khukuri (Kukri), which gave Gurkhas and the whole Nepalese people the victory of Gurkhas during the 1st wartime. Probably the most renowned fighting knife in the world is the genuine Gurkha khukuri knife (the wickedly curved Kukri of the Gurkhas of Nepal). It is a Historic Kukri with a blade that is flat, light by weight, and comfortable to carry. In the wartime, the sight of this formidable Khukuri in the hands of the Gurkha soldiers was enough to bring the enemy at their wit’s ends. This genuine Gurkha kukri is a very famous knife among tourists and collectors because of the fact that it was actually used by the Gurkha soldiers/army during the first world wars. It played a very significant role in creating the history of the Gurkha. This genuine Gurkha khukuri knife was also great to use for any kind of heavy or light duty. The water poured temper on the blade makes it very strong. The handle is very stronger than the world War II kukri. Basically carried in a leather case, mostly walnut wooden grip and traditionally having two small knives and the blade is made of highly graded carbon steel (mostly used in railway tracks).
