This 14″ Aluminium Handle Historical Kukri | Beautiful Pattern Etched Khukuri Knife is a distinctive curved Nepalese knife very well renowned among the Military and Nepalese people. Nepalese people regard it as their basic utility knife. The kukri earns worldwide respect for its fearsome effectiveness as a close combat knife, and in Nepal, it serves similarly to a machete as a utility knife. The khukuri in general remains a characteristic survival blade for the Nepalese army, the Royal British Army regiment, regiments of the Indian army, the Singapore police, and the Royal Brunei Guard. Some English speakers also identify it as an Gurkha Army blade or a Gurkha Army knife.

The 14″ Aluminium Handle Historical Kukri | Beautiful Pattern Etched Khukuri Knife | EGKH excels as a chopping and slashing knife and is most renowned for military use. Its applications include building, clearing, chopping firewood, digging, slaughtering animals for food, cutting meat and vegetables, skinning animals, and opening cans.  Outdoor enthusiasts can use the Kukri as a survival or camping knife. The handle has a circumference of 4 inches and measures 5.2 inches (13.2 cm) in length. The steel hardness levels measurements are: Spine 22-25 RC, Belly 45-46 RC, and Edge 58-60 RC. The lower spine measures 3 mm, and the upper spine is 10 mm thick.

This kukri knife has a 14-inch blade made from highly graded 5160 carbon steel with a polished finish. There is a 5.2-inch long rat tail tang handle made from aluminium. The handle design will protect your hand from the extremely sharp edge of the blade when you are using it. The etching design creates a more unique & antique look. You can also customize this etching kukri Knife to your liking if you want it with a full tang handle. You can do so by simply selecting the full tang handle option. 

A Karda & Chakmak are included with this khukuri. Karda is a sharp knife that can be used to cut fruits & vegetables, open tin cans, etc. The Chakmak is a blunt steel that can be used to hone the khukuri blade or used to produce sparks for fire with fire steel or flint. These extra blades are also made with aluminium handles.
