The handle of the machete kukri is made of sturdy rosewood and measures 6.5 inches. It provides a secure grip and precise control, with a comfortable handle circumference of 6 inches. The total length of the khukuri is 24.5 inches striking a balance between compactness and reach, making it a reliable companion for outdoor activities. The guard handle design on this khukuri knife ensures easy handling and precise control, allowing you to tackle various tasks with confidence. You can hold it closer to the guard for better blade control, or closer to the pommel for more power and reach. At the bottom end of the handle, we added a wrist lanyard to enhance safety ensuring the khukuri doesn’t fly away even if you lose hold of it.

The weight of the machete kukri knife is approximately 2400 gm, with the scabbard and boasts an upper spine thickness of 12 mm & lower spine thickness of 10 mm. It has a belly measuring 3.4 inches. The blade’s structure varies in hardness: the spine at 22-25 RC, the belly at 45-46 RC, and the edge at an impressive 58-60 RC. To protect this masterpiece kukri we have a scabbard made from pinewood and wrapped water buffalo leather that serves as a durable and stylish shield for the blade.

The pockets hold a blunt steel called “Chakmak” for sharpening the blade or for striking spark with a flint and a small sharp knife known as “Karda” used for skinning animals, opening cans, cutting paper, cutting or peeling small fruits & vegetables, etc. You can also customize the Karda and Chakmak to your liking if you want it.
