9” blade is made from 5160 High Carbon Steel, which is known for its strength and resilience. The blade’s lower spine is 3mm thick, its upper spine is 6mm thick, and its spine is 6mm thick. The blade is sharpened on both sides and is unpolished, making it simple to use and maintain. The cutting edge of the blade exhibits an impressive hardness rating of 58-60 RC. In contrast, the belly of the blade, which spans a length of 1.9 inches, boasts a relatively softer hardness rating of 45-46 RC. The variance in hardness between the two regions of the blade is a deliberate design choice that imparts optimal performance and durability to the blade. The rosewood handle of the knife has a circumference of 4.4 inches and a length of 5 inches, making it comfortable to hold while cutting.

The full tang design and blocker ensure that the handle is sturdy and can withstand heavy use.
